No. DevClip works entirely in your browser. Just scan the QR code with your camera app (iOS or Android) and you're instantly connected. No app store downloads, no registrations.
Speed and Compatibility. Unlike WeTransfer, we don't upload to a server first—we stream directly between devices (P2P), making it often 10x faster. Unlike AirDrop, DevClip works universally across iPhones, Androids, Windows, and Macs.
In Peer-to-Peer (P2P) mode, the only limit is your browser's capability. We've tested 50GB+ transfers successfully. If a direct link fails and we switch to Relay Mode, a 1GB limit applies for free users (unlimited for Lifetime).
Mathematically private. In P2P mode, your data flows directly from Device A to Device B through an encrypted WebRTC tunnel. It never touches our servers. Even in Relay Mode, streams are ephemeral and deleted instantly after transfer.
Because YOU are the server. Since we don't store your files in the cloud, the transfer happens in real-time. Closing the tab breaks the digital bridge. Think of it like a phone call.
